The whole design for The Odyssey and Iliad was inspired from the fact that those story are already existed since long time ago as it related to ancient Greek poems. To bringing those kind of feeling, so I am using deckled effect on each pages that combine nicely with the texture from Silencium Grey paper that I choose for the whole set of books. As the whole concept is bringing ancient in modern way, the photographs those used on both books are using a minimalist style that match together with cut out shape concept as well as the graphic elements inside both books. Lastly, each photograph and graphic element to be used as a hint for guiding the reader to know the start and the end of the stories.
